A 12-Item Digital Parent Rating Form to Assess the Impact of the Pandemic on School-Based Functioning
Since 2020, the world has changed. Students and their families have been particularly impacted—adapting to periods of remote learning, dealing with quarantines, and fearing for the health and safety of themselves and their loved ones.
At school, students may exhibit symptoms such as anxiety, stress, and fear. Finding out if students are struggling is the first step in helping school professionals do what they do best—helping children.
The PASS-12, a 12-item checklist developed by FAR, FAM, FAW, and FACT author Steven Feifer, DEd, allows you to assess the impact of a pandemic on school-based functioning, specifically for children who are attending or re-entering in-person school. This parent rating form provides information to help school professionals make important decisions.
